Basch: レックス、まわりの警戒を怠るな。右スティックで周囲を見回せ。あたりに帝国兵がいないか確認するんだ。やってみろ。

Reks, don't drop your guard about what's going on around you. Look around you by using the Right Analog Stick. Make sure there are no Imperial Soldiers around here. Try it.

Tutorial:『視点を変えてみよう』

右スティックを操作して、視点を変えてみましょう。

"Changing your Point of View"

Move your Right Analog stick and try changing your viewpoint.

Basch: レックス、移動は左スティックだ。ゆっくり歩くなら浅く倒し、急いで走るなら深く倒す。もう歩けるな？私のところに来てくれ。

Reks, movement is handled by the Left Analog Stick. If you want to walk slowly, nudge it slightly, and if you want to run in a hurry, move it strongly. Can you still walk? Come here.

Tutorial: 『移動してみよう』

左スティックを操作して、バッシュの前へ移動しましょう。

"Try moving!" - Using the Left Analog Stick, let's move to in front of Basch!

Basch: 私の頭上にシグナルが見えるな？ これはタークアイコンといって、会話できる相手を示す目印だ。話しかける時は近づいて○ボタンだ。 扉のそばにいる仲間に声をかけてみろ。

Do you see the signal above my head? That's called a Talk Icon, and it indicates who you can talk to. When you want to talk, move close (to your target) and press the ○ button. Go talk to the guy next to the door.

Dalmascan Soldier (ダルマスカ兵): レックス、命を粗末にするなよ。 自分にできることをやればいい。祖国を救えば弟にも自慢できるぞ。将軍の指示に従って行動するんだ。

Reks, don't throw away your life. Doing as much as you can is enough. If you save the country, your little brother will be proud.

Basch: レックス、我々はこの扉から城内に突入する。

Reks, we can enter the inside of the castle through this door.

Tutorial: 『フィールドサインを覚えよう』

鉄格子の扉の前に移動してみましょう。

"Remember the Field Sign!" - Let's move in front of the iron-barred door.

Basch: きみの頭上に現れたのはフィールドサインだ。扉やスイッチ、トレジャーなど、きみの近くに何かがあることを教えてくれる。何があるのか知りたければ、もう1歩近づけばフィールドサインの形が変わる。そこで○ボタンだ。さあ、その扉を開けてくれ。

What appeared above you was a "Field Sign". It tells you when things like rooms, switches, treasures, and such are nearby. Moving one step closer will make the "Field Sign" change shape telling you what is there. At this point, use the ○ button. Now, try opening that door.

鉄の門扉の前に移動し

○ボタンを押してみましょう。

"Remember the Field Sign!" - Let's move in front of the iron gate, and press the ○ button.

Basch: よし、突入する。城塞を占領した帝国軍を蹴散らし、我々の手でダルマスカを救うんだ。レックス、きみは目の前の敵に集中すればいい。きみの背中は私が守る。

Okay, we're moving in. We'll kick around the Imperial soldiers holding this fortress and save Dalamasca with our own hands. Reks, concentrate on the enemies in front of you. I'll watch your back.

Basch: いいか、レックス。△ボタンでパーティメニューが開く。

Listen, Reks. The △ button opens the Party Menu.

自分の状態や、持っているアイテムの情報などは、パーティメニューで確認するんだ。

You can confirm your status, item info, etc. in the Party Menu.

敵のターゲットラインだ。気をつけろ、きみは敵に狙われている。

That's the enemy's target line. Be careful, you're being targetted by an enemy.

敵が味方を狙っているときは赤いライン、

味方が敵を狙っているときは赤いラインだ。

赤いラインが現れたら、すぐに敵を確認しろ。

When an enemy is targetting a party member it's a red line, and when a party member is targetting an enemy it's a red line. When a red line appears, quickly confirm the enemy's location.

敵が見当たらない時は右スティックで周囲を見回せ。

敵を確認したら○ボタンだ。

それでバトルコマンドが表示させる。

If you can't see the enemy, use the Right Analog stick to check your surroundings. After you've verified the enemy, press the ○ button. This will bring up the Battle Command display.

『たたかう』を選択して攻撃する相手を決めたら、

左スティックで近づくんだ。

あとは敵を倒すまで、自動的に攻撃しつづける。

Once you've selected the 'Fight' command and a target to attack, use the Left Analog stick to close in. Until the enemy is defeated, you'll automatically continue attacking.

攻撃する相手や、行動はいつでも変更できる。

HPが減ったら○ボタンのバトルコマンドで

『アイテム』を選び、ポーションを使え。

You can always change your target and action. If your HP gets low, use the ○ button Battle Commands, select "Item," and use a Potion.

アイテムを使った後は、自動的に敵への攻撃を再開する。

だから、バトルコンマンドを入れ直す必要はないぞ。

After using an item, you will automatically resume attacking the enemy again. That's why it's not necessary to re-input a Battle Command.

わかるな、レックス。きみならできる！
